From 1917 to 1942 this place was a schoolhouse! Now, it's updated with modern amenities, gated, and has three beautiful suites to accommodate eight guests.
The Liberty Suite is located downstairs. Guests enjoy the large dressing area, mirrors, and a two-person jetted, jacuzzi tub all within the private bath. The 800-square-foot suite brags of a large sitting area with a fireplace and a tall, king-size bed you can sink into.
Breakfast is served in the suite or on the covered porch between 8:15-8:30 AM. Sleeps two.
The upstairs suite, Let Freedom Ring Suite is 600 square feet. It has a private bathroom with a shower, a queen bed, and a separate sitting area. The sofa is a sleeper sofa. This suite can accommodate up to four guests. Breakfast is also served 8:15 - 8:30 AM.
The third and newest suite, The Schoolyard Suite is downstairs. It's a beautiful studio close to parking, with an electric fireplace, a small dining table, a soaking tub, and a patio area. The king-sized bed faces a wall mural of the world's shipping lanes in 1914. This unique suite has been a favorite with our guests. Sleeps two. Breakfast is also served from 8:15 - 8:30 AM.
Each of our suites has its own mini-kitchenette with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. We provide bottled water, soda, and coffee to our registered guests. Breakfast will be served in your suite or if a group of eight the patio is a great place together for breakfast. Weather permitting,
Each suite has its own private entrance. A short history tour of the schoolhouse grounds is available for our registered guests.
On a hill, with beautiful views of Eagle Mountain Lake, the Fort Worth skyline, and early morning sunrises, it's common to get that "peaceful, easy feeling". We are just down the street from West Bay Marina and the new restaurant Eagle's Point. A must-try!
